Custom Nodes & Extensibility
A pluggable node model. Built by us today; self-service is roadmap.
The data-flow engine is designed around a pluggable node model. Every standard node type — connections, queries, dashboards — is built on the same extensibility architecture.
Available
The pluggable node architecture.
Multiple first-party node types already ship on this architecture — covering data connections, API sources, dashboards, and audit/amendment tracking. When you need an integration or capability beyond the standard set, our team builds it on the same node model your existing flows already use.
Roadmap
Self-service custom node authoring.
Customer-authored node types — where your own team builds and deploys a new node type without engineering support from us — is not yet available. Today, new integrations are added through the standard API and Connection node types, or built for you by our team.
Getting a new integration today
How extensibility works right now.
- Most integrations fit an existing API or Connection node type — see API & Connection Nodes
- For anything outside that, talk to us — new node types are built on the same architecture your workspace already runs on
- Azi can propose configuration changes within existing node types without engineering involvement — see Meet Azi
